Naxi Culture & Bonfire
Visit a Naxi family in Yuhu Village for a Dongba culture exchange, watch "Lijiang: A Timeless Romance," then join the bonfire party after dark
Erhai Lake
Travel to Dali for a cruise on Erhai Lake with live folk performances and the ceremonial Bai Three-Course Tea: bitter, then sweet, then spicy. Evening in Dali's ancient town.
Xizhou & Tie-Dye
Explore Xizhou's ancient town and its centuries-old tie-dye craft, and dye a piece of your own to take home. Travel on to Kunming.
Kunming to Guilin
Travel to Guilin, with free time to rest, wander, and adjust.
Guilin Student Exchange
Visit a Guilin high school for a student exchange, then Elephant Trunk Hill and the lit chambers of the Reed Flute Cave.
Impression, Liu Sanjie
Cruise the Li River past the karst peaks printed on the back of every twenty-yuan note, cycle the Yulong River countryside, then watch "Impression, Liu Sanjie" performed on the water after dark.
Fan-Painting Workshop
A traditional fan-painting workshop in the ancient town of Fuli, where fans have been made by hand for 600 years. Travel on to Nanning.
